As Bloomsdale Excavating was in the process of the 2005 stripping projects for APAC we were approached by APAC management and asked to consider if we would be interested in providing a proposal to provide drilling services for several of their quarries. Starting in April 2005, Bloomsdale and APAC entered into a year long contract where in Bloomsdale would provide said drilling services. One of our clients concerns was ensuring Bloomsdale would keep up with their demand for rock production. Bloomsdale made the decision to work four 10-hour days and allow Friday and Saturday as added days that could be worked if the client’s need dictated. Currently, Bloomsdale Excavating has not only been able to keep up with APAC’s drilling needs, but has continually exceeded their expectations.
