Bloomsdale Excavating was contracted to perform overburden removal for APAC at several of their quarry locations throughout the state; totalling six locations in all. In an effort to provide flexibility for the client and allow them to track productions and cost on a week-by-week basis, Bloomsdale Excavating Company, Inc. provided a time and material rate for men and equipment with a guarantee not to exceed unit price per cubic yard. Bloomsdale Excavating’s team was also able to assist APAC’s management in the assessment of various overburden removal plans and what would potentially be the best value for their overall quarry plan.
