Bloomsdale Excavating has worked with quarries since the company’s inception. Our fleet of large equipment allows us to perform overburden projects cost-effectively and efficiently. Work performed includes clearing by grinding or burning, mass excavation and rock excavation by drilling, blasting and other mechanical methods designed to deliver the precision necessary for particularly critical activities.
Our expertise in environmental remediation and restoration is a valuable resource as we take responsibility along with our mining clients to help them run the most efficient and compliant operation possible.
Exemplifying our extraordinary emphasis on mine safety, in 2006 Bloomsdale Excavating became the first independent contractor in the United States to form a partnership with the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). The partnership strengthens both organizations’ ability to develop and implement safe practices for mining companies in Missouri and throughout the United States.
