SAFETY > TRAINING
The safety team at Bloomsdale Excavating is responsible for keeping our teams well-informed regarding safety procedures. All new hires must complete safety orientation before working on a job site. Employees also complete training courses in specific areas, such as:
Safety Training
Competent person training for trenching/excavation, Hazwoper, Fall protection, Rigging, Hazard Communication, Hazard Recognition, site specific training and more
OSHA 10, 30 and MSHA Part 46 and 48
OSHA 10-hour construction course
OSHA 30 supervisor training for construction
MSHA Part 46 - 24 hour new miner, 8 hour refresher and task training
MSHA Part 48 - 24 hour new miner, 8 hour refresher and task training
Management staff at Bloomsdale Excavating are certified instructors of the above safety programs.
First Aid - Supervisor Training
First Aid, CPR, and AED trained employees
Yearly in-house supervisor training
Safety Trained Supervisors
Certified (STS) Trained Supervisors.
A certification program of the Council on Certification of Health, Environmental and safety technologists (CCHEST)
