LOCATION - St. Peters, MO
TIMELINE - January 2024 – March 2024

PROJECT SUMMARY
Our team successfully completed a slope stabilization project in collaboration with the City of St. Peters and the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). This project involved strategic placement of riprap, removal of emergency rock material, and careful installation of geotextile fabric and clean bedding materials.

Riprap Placement:
Placed a total of 1,400 tons of riprap on the slope, ensuring long-term stability and erosion control.

Emergency Rock Removal:
Removed 1,941 cubic yards (CY) of emergency rock material from the failed slope, addressing immediate safety concerns and preparing the site for further stabilization efforts.

Clean Bedding Installation:
Placed 432 tons of 3” clean material on top of the geogrid fabric, providing a stable bedding layer for additional slope protection.

Geotextile Fabric Placement:
Installed 1,390 square yards (SY) of geotextile fabric on the slope, beneath the 3” clean bedding, to enhance soil stability and filtration.

Worked effectively with representatives from the City of St. Peters and USACE, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and project specifications.

• Coordinated with Rail Works representatives to safely navigate work near the railroad easements, completing the necessary tasks within 2 days despite having a 3-day reservation.

This project exemplifies our commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and effective collaboration with various stakeholders. The completed stabilization measures have significantly improved the slope's integrity and durability.
